2025 Ohio State Fair Fine Arts

STATEWIDE CALL FOR ENTRIES PERSPECTIVE ON: FASHION AND DESIGN  

The 2025 annual juried exhibition perspective will celebrate the diversity of the disciplines of fashion and design. Submissions are encouraged across a range of mediums, including garments, textiles, accessories, fashion photography, illustration, graphic design, product design, fashion processes, and collaborations across disciplines. All work should emphasize originality and creativity, avoiding any recognizable commercial imagery or branding. This exhibition will showcase the rich fashion and design from the state of Ohio that highlights craftsmanship, experimentation, and conceptual thinking. 

Important Dates

• Entry Deadline: June 3, 2025, at 1 p.m.

• Notification: June 10

• Artwork Drop-Off: June 13–15 at the Cox Fine Arts Center

• Exhibition Dates: July 23 – August 3

• Opening Reception: July 18 (invite only)

• Artwork Pickup: August 3–5

Eligibility & Divisions

• Open to Ohio residents aged 17+

• Amateur and Professional Divisions

  • Artists may only submit to one division

  • Once accepted as a professional, artist remains in that status for future fairs

• Unlimited entries allowed

• Work must be original, created within the last 2 years, and family-friendly

Special Feature: Tiny Art Show

• Mini “show within a show” themed “Ohio”

• Only for artists accepted into main show

• Max size: 6” x 6” x 6”; all work must be for sale under $250

Awards

Professional Division

• Best of Show: $2,000

• 2nd & 3rd Place: $1,400 / $1,000

• 2 Juror’s Choice Awards: $600 each

Amateur Division

• Best of Show: $1,000

• 2nd & 3rd Place: $700 / $500

• 2 Juror’s Choice Awards: $400 each
